Purple trees and pink squirrels ! !!

       Purple trees?  pink squirrels?  all signs of an imagination. When we are  creative, we can make  our world look like anything we like. The people who come and say Trees aren't purple! squirrels aren't pink, well they just don't understand.
When  we choose to be creative, our world can look like anything it wants to look like!  The people who choose to break the molds set on life are the ones who succeed at being a successful artist. This is because they find new  ideas and  new inventions.
I meet alot of people who say they aren't creative. I try to tell them that  I believe everyone is creative in one way or anther, they just have to find their creativity. Perhaps the people who  say they aren't creative are the ones  who were told  as a child that  trees aren't purple and squirrels defiantly cannot  be pink!  I think these people need to sit back and  take a breathe.  They need to  crab a box of crayons and  just let their imagination flow. Drawing whatever comes to mind. Shut off the voices that  scream " that is wrong" and  only listen to  the voice that says " this is  fun" " i am going to do whatever I feel like" 


  If you look back throughout time, the people  who created anything great in this world were people who broke the rules. Honestly, before there was  a light bulb who would have  beleived their could be a lightbulb.
 Before a man went to the moon, People would  have thought the person with that idea was  crazy..
 Also, the internet....  Who'd have beleived that we could talk  with people all over the world through something called a computer  before a computer was  even invented?  So, follow your dreams. Don't listen to the people who tell you they are impossible.  Create your pink squirrels and purple trees  that live in your heart and soul .

Christmas ... already?

Is it to early to be  thinking about christmas? Its only a few weeks  until november 1st.  Thats about the time when malls and shops start putitng out their christmas displays.  The  beautiful lights and colours  everywhere... I love it! 
I only moved to this  little city last February, so it will be my very first christmas here. I have no idea what  it is like around here.  I take custom orders and will for christmas presents aswell.  Also, check out my online store

Hemp Jewlry and Kareoke ....

Last night was friday night,  I decided to go  try to sell some of my designs  at the kareokee night at a local pub. I used to do this all the time and havnt  for  quite awhile.  It was a lot of fun. People liked my jewelry. I doubt I will do this to often even though it  was a great night. Hanging out with friends, singing  great tunes and showing  people  what I've made. Oh, I sang zombie by the Cranberries,  Were not gonna take it  by Twisted Sister and   some Joan Jett song. It was a great night.

Pottery !!

So I decided to start making my  own beads and pendants. I've taken  one course of pottery  before but a long time ago. Its definatly a  learning process.  It is a lot of  fun though.
    Making my own beads and pendants out of clay means I can make a more specified  "custom" Design.

Last day at the Red Deer farmers market

Yesterday was the last day  of the Red Deer farmers market.  It was an awsome day, freezing, but  great!   Despite the  zereo tempature many people showed up and it was a buisy day. 

 This was my very first time  having a booth in a market. I have to say I learned a lot and enjoyed it very much. Definatly wil lbe  back next  season.... Which  i beleive  is in May.

Colours and how they affect us

What colours does one wear during winter? Why does everything have to be dark and dreary? why not brighten things up with colour and pizazze?  Instead of  blacks and  greys , choose reds and pinks, even  bright yellows.
  The colours we choose to surround ourselves with greatly affect our moods and sometimes even choices.


 I was searching through some blogs  on colour and their meanings. I found some of these on a few  blogs..  Its a very interesting topic. Id say research it some on your own. I know that one year I had a  deep purple  paint on one of  the walls in my apartment. Whenever I walked by that wall a deep calmness surrounded my essence. It wwas awsome.  I love purple, so i really odn't know if the same colour would affect everyone in the same way. Try it!  Find a colour you love. See  how it affects you and your life!
